Logaland is a vibrant community house nestled in the serene Icelandic countryside. With its warm and welcoming atmosphere, it serves as a hub for diverse activities, including festivals, workshops, and outdoor excursions and is available for rent. Here, people come together to forge strong community connections, explore different cultures, and nurture a deep appreciation for the surrounding natural beauty.
This is a perfect scenery and a central place for an event like Grefillinn.
The race committe has rented this place so this will be our home base during the weekend of 11th to 13th of August. Logaland will be housing our pre-race events, packed pickups and the award ceremony.
Lodging
If you arrive early, you can get a spot at the free camping area around the house. Please note that we can not guarantee space as the space is limited so you better be quick.
The camping area opens at 18:00 on the 11th of August and needs to cleared by 12:00 on Sunday morning on the 13th of August.
We also do recommend local camping sites at Kleppjárnsreykir, Varmaland and Húsafell.
