Fantastic hotel in a breathtaking environment
Hotel Varmaland opened in 2019 after an extensive renovation and renovation of the Varmaland Housing Academy, which was drawn by Guðjón Samúelsson and originally built in 1946. During the renovation, the history of the place was mixed with comfortable and modern design, so it became an elegant hotel in the heart of Borgarfjörður, ideal for relaxing in beautiful surroundings and nature.
The hotel has 60 rooms of different types so you can choose a room that suits your needs. The rooms are in Scandinavian style where simplicity and comfort comes hand in hand.
On the top floor you will find the restaurant Calor which offers 360 panoramic view and tasty food from the region. On the first floor is also a bar serving happy hour from 16:00 to 18:00 everyday.
